Who Do I Think I Am?
Every once in a while, I catch myself asking, “Who do I think I am?”
Who am I to call myself an “expert” on betrayal or cancer? Who am I to write about rebuilding my life after it falls apart? Who am I to tackle the idea of corporate burnout, or hormones that refuse to cut you a single shred of slack? Who am I to dissect the strange, disorienting experience of waking up one day and realizing that the life you’re living doesn’t belong to you anymore?
Then I remember.
I Thought I Was Building the Safe Part
I was a good kid.
Less gifted prodigy destined for greatness, good; more unlikely to cause anyone any additional problems, good.
I was quiet. Painfully shy. Always responsible. I learned to read a room long before I understood what I was doing. I learned that keeping people happy made life easier. I learned to make myself smaller than everyone else, useful whenever possible, and that being agreeable made me easier to love.
I learned how to survive by being good.
And somewhere along the way, like a lot of kids who grow up learning those things, I developed a very specific idea about adulthood.
Living in the Grey
Personally, I love a good spreadsheet. Give me colour-coded tabs, formulas, conditional formatting, and a progress bar, and I’m downright giddy. There is something deeply satisfying about taking absolute chaos and organizing it into neat, predictable little boxes.
On the flip side, I also own a stuffed teddy bear who wears a red bowtie and regularly questions my life choices. No, I’m not crazy. I just have an active imagination, and honestly, his advice is usually better than most LinkedIn think-pieces.
My point is that I’m not exactly committed to staying in one lane.
What I'm Writing Now...
Unfortunately, Yes
Creative Memoir — In Progress
Unfortunately, Yes is a creative memoir about what happens when the life you thought you were building falls spectacularly off-script.
Moving through cancer, marriage, betrayal, divorce, single motherhood, and the deeply unglamorous business of starting over, it explores the moments that break us, reshape us, and occasionally become funny once enough time has passed.
Told with vulnerability, dry humour, and a healthy appreciation for the absurd, Unfortunately, Yes is ultimately about rebuilding a life when Plan A has very clearly left the building—with occasional commentary from a caffeine-addicted talking bear.

Financial Services
Turning common client questions into straightforward, approachable answers—without losing the important details.
What should I bring to my first meeting?
You don't need to arrive with your financial life perfectly organized. A general picture of your income, expenses, savings and goals gives us a great place to start.
How often will we review my plan?
Your plan should change when your life does. We'll review it regularly and make adjustments when your goals, priorities or circumstances shift.
What if I don't know what my financial goals are yet?
That's okay. You don't need a ten-year plan before asking for help. Part of the process is figuring out what matters to you and building from there.

Professional Services
Professional doesn't have to mean impersonal. This sample homepage copy is designed to build trust while still sounding like a real person.
Good advice starts with understanding what you're actually trying to build.
You don't need more jargon.
You need someone who understands where you are, helps you decide where you're going, and makes the path between the two feel a little less overwhelming.
